I have an idea of a drawing of what anxiety looks like. Imagine a highway with multiple lanes, each lane has a car that represents a task that needs doing, everything a person has to do in a day to make it though the day safely. A healthy mind has a free flowing highway. The anxious mind has a giant, heavy, amorphous growth blocking the highway, all the cars have to slow down and treacle around. The anxious human is weighed down by this as the every day tasks, even the subconscious ones, are now more of an effort to get through. Sometimes the growth blocks the cars entirely. It's a disgusting thing.
