English or History, goes to a lesser university. I've had this happen too. I was a top student in English and History, possibly the best in my grade, and other students who were really good at math but weren't good at all in a humanities class had far better opportunities than

The moment it begins, my brain switches gears. I suddenly want to wear socks around the house, keep the kettle on, and answer texts slower than usual. I don't feel lazy exactly, more like the day has its own schedule now and I'm just along for the ride. Even my posture changes.
I think the parts of my life that will be revealed to them when they visit are way less appealing than the parts of me they know i.e. my physical appearance and personality.
