2 years ago, almost to the day. It was a great joy of my life to pour into this program, start shifting culture again, and help build. But it is with a heavy heart to announce that I will not be returning to the sidelines for Del Valle football next season.

Those who know me, know all of this does not come lightly without emotion. Though I would have certainly scripted another, it's been such an honor and a privilege to serve.

For all the coaches that do it right, and from the heart, a lot of hard work goes into this profession and sleepless nights, but I can honestly say that I have loved just about every minute. God is good✝️

As the timing would have it (there goes God again), this year will mark the end of 28 years in this #txhsfb profession. 28 years is a long time, and a part of me will always want more years to help build and coach these amazing kids and student-athletes--but it's tough to think of a better place to finish...#DVYK

Fearless, Grit, Hard Work, Hustle, Resolve, Perseverance, Work Ethic! On the field and in the classroom! #DVDNA🩸 I'm proud of each and every one of you. Go Cards!
