@alexculebras thanks! mixpanel just uses a weighted average of the weekly cohorts (combining the retention values for each week, adjusted for cohort size) so it doesn't let small / large weekly cohorts skew the values.
new app is looking promising... retention curve is starting to smile
the smiley is the hardest type of consumer app retention curve, and it's the first time I'm seeing one in my own app
it means usage is increasing over time and initially churned users return to use the app
(in this case, users using the main feature of the app weekly)
