Tonight I was pleased to be part of #CiscoCommunity and #CiscoLearning VIP Virtual Event. This was first time to attend virtually. It’s still the same, amazing and lots of fun! I also was one of the lucky winners tonight! Thank You #Cisco and all the super nice Community Managers
@davidsamuelps For what its worth... I know a lot of people in the industry with similar problems. A couple of years back i had serious issues With this myself and what worked in the end was to literally just disconnect in every possible way from work and just be free.
@davidsamuelps This is a problem With Labs that Need to scale to 'enterprise' proportions. I personally run ESX and its possible to overcome licenses at sane prices With connections. Otherwise KVM is a good option. Btw you can trick internal system checks on VMs to not Need all vCores.
@bigevilbeard@LukaszBromirski@danieldibswe I honestly dont know what i would do to respond to questions like that. Its never really happened to me, guess im Lucky. I usually spot bad recruiters way before those discussions can happen.
Thought of The day: what happens when network engineers are not involved in projects?
You get hypervisor redundancy (multiple servers) , VM-redundancy (multiple OS installs), application redundancy (multiple instances), network redundancy (multiple gateways).
Lets run VRRPx4!
@danieldibswe It’s obviously command authorization,e.g. each command is validated before being executed. Though it lays a burden on your tacacs server with automation,it’s a perfect example of zerotrust principle (least privilege access) in contrast to radius where it is set & forget
#CiscoVIP@danieldibswe compares #Cisco SD-WAN and DMVPN and examines the technical perspective as well as management and operations. https://t.co/ZuVbScCyLR #CiscoCert
@davidsamuelps @Davideczech63 @danieldibswe Oh yes. If you ever make it to sweden ill drop by The party :)! Its sad that we only live 20 min apart and consult in The same region but dont find The time for a Coffee.
@RikerRob To be honest and fair... The certifications themselves are a Great way to learn about foundation knowledge. From my perspective, they rarely test The real world scenarios even With sims. Its really about The knowledge you pick up Along The way - thats The value.
@danieldibswe As many already stated its a huge challenge to profile devices and align them to policies and regulations.
From implementation pov... PKI-infrastructure by far and get those working on all devices...also convince People to rely on a single point of failure (yes, i see you ISE!)
