@fan4life_wwe@MissAsh_13 Considering Swifties came and spammed that post with a bullshit community note that was later removed, he shows by not immediately buying their narrative that he actually isn't a part of them, and by not immediately buying into their bullshit he probably is above them.
@MKBHD The obsession with everything needing to be a big new thing has been terrible for the industry. Focusing on actually making products better and being fine with not needing to launch something big every time is good and healthy for it.
@EricGDorsey@ryanripkenshow It's discouraged by the fact that attempting a tag means he's automatically out. Which Gunner did. Umps made up a bullshit reason why that wasn't a tag, specifically giving advantage to the runner for no real reason. So yeah, seems pretty obviously discouraged if it's illegal.
@cabanadrives6@DiscussingFilm The Martian is his biggest financial hit though, so we really shouldn't be surprised by that inclusion at least. I am surprised a little a Black Hawk down myself, because Gladiator was right there. But that movie was pretty big itself anyway.
@cabanadrives6@DiscussingFilm I mean, alien is probably the most persistent of the properties he worked on, but there's been so many movies I'm not sure modern movie goers associate that franchise with him specifically.
@EricGDorsey@ryanripkenshow Also, according to the umps, in order for that to be enough of a tag attempt, you would have had to slow down more and moved away from first. Which gives the runner more time to go to first. Thereby, despite being out, the runner gets the advantage of preventing the double play.
@cabanadrives6@DiscussingFilm Because those are much more recent movies and most people are more casual moviegoers and are more likely to know two more recent huge hits.
@EricGDorsey@ryanripkenshow When Gunner attempted his tag the runner was almost Gunner's full body length to his left. That's significantly more than 3 ft. Did you think that was a gotcha?
@EricGDorsey@ryanripkenshow Swhat you're saying is that by running outside the baseline you can force the other fielder to slow down more and give the guy running to first time to get there safely. Seems like you're giving the base runner an advantage for doing something that's supposed to be illegal
@ryanripkenshow@EricGDorsey Baseball is saying by running out of the baseline if you can force the player to slow down and do a more dramatic tag motion and give the guy running to first base more time with absolutely zero punishment. It's giving the base runner advantage for something supposedly illegal.
@TheRealBenRod1@jrivers15@Jackoujo@FoulTerritoryTV@JakeDRill Yeah, and when he made the tag attempt if you actually look at the pictures of where Clement was, he was more then 3. Gunner is over 6 ft, if Gunner would have laid down from where he attempted the tag to were Clement was it was well over half his body length, he was over 3 ft.
