Playing around w T3 Code & I'm digging it
Single app, on Linux, that I can use for all models & I can control from my desktop or phone? I'm in!
I definitely have to remind it "this script is to grab the data for analysis, this script is NOT the product. I don't need a thousand tests for this."
I always regret it when I forget to tell it that right up front lol
I think 5.6 Sol is amazing but it definitely loves to be that coworker that's doing too much lol
@dev_hoff@thsottiaux You'd think they'd be able to use some tool to help them port it to Linux
Some kind of AI type of tool that could lower the barrier to work like this, coding
Could spice up the name and call it codeX or something
@jjjjoseignacioo@thsottiaux I love the Codex CLI & use the heck out of it daily
Still want the app available on Linux
And yeah, completely agree that the app on Windows has lots of room for improvement but at least it actually exists
Been using tf out of 5.6-Sol lately & wanted a 2d eye by Fable
Got hit with a "session limit" pretty f'g fast
Ummm, how tf are you supposed to work like this?!! I'm already on the max plan
Fine. I'll downgrade my Claude plan & will just revise how & when I use it
@pbteja1998 Been using this a lot since Fable came out & I so so so wish Codex had this feature
Been using Fable as the conductor & launching codex agents as minions and it has worked so well
Ohhh. That's interesting. I've generated app and site UI designs using pretty much every model released & Fable was the first time where I thought "holy sh*# that's awesome"
I wasn't really blown away with the code it generated, been using Codex and 5.5 so used to that, but the design was fantastic
@JustinMitchel General instruction in the agents file - "Always provide the cli command to accomplish a task and never provide UI / GUI steps to accomplish the task on the platform unless the cli does not include the capability"
Always so much easier to review, copy, paste, and move on lol
