The United States of America has successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the Country. This operation was done in conjunction with U.S. Law Enforcement. Details to follow. There will be a News Conference today at 11 A.M., at Mar-a-Lago. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Treasury yields have moved in a literal straight line higher since the “Fed pivot.”
+65 basis points in one month putting 30-year mortgage rates back above 7%.
The market is saying the Fed has lost their credibility.
I’ll be honest—I never liked Netanyahu. I believed he should not be Prime Minister, and I won’t cater to the antisemites with the reasons. But today, I’ve got to say he redeemed himself in a way I never thought possible. What he’s done in the last 11 months is nothing short of historical, ballsy, and downright legendary.
From refusing to fold under the tremendous weight of the Biden-Harris administration’s pressure to end the war prematurely —something most people can’t even imagine—to delivering decisive victories that will be written about for generations, he has redefined his legacy. The last couple of weeks alone, from the precision operation in Lebanon to the elimination of Hezbollah’s leadership—including Nasrallah himself—have placed Netanyahu at the top of the books of Israel’s history.
Just like I’ve always credited him with his failures, I'll now credit him with these monumental successes.
Well done, Benjamin Netanyahu.
You can't make this up:
Berkshire Hathaway just hit $1 TRILLION in market cap, and this is screenshot of their website.
The company has bullet points with links attached to them on a single page website.
The best part?
A disclaimer at the bottom of their website says "If you have any comments about our WEB page, you can write us at the address shown above."
It also says "However, due to the limited number of personnel in our corporate office, we are unable to provide a direct response."
Truly legendary.
One week into lower mortgage rates and there has been no bounce back in homebuyer demand.
The weekly mortgage application index came in at 134, down 11% from last year.
Meanwhile - the 30-year fixed dropped to 6.55%.
Prepare yourself for low buyer demand in H2 2024 as Americans continue to boycott the housing market.
Inventory in Florida is now officially at its highest level in at least 7 years.
141,000 active listings in July 2024.
Up 70% from last year. And 276% from pandemic low.
These type of inventory gains are huge and suggest big downward price pressure in H2 2024. Be careful if you're buying in Florida.

Truly insane:
Odds of a 50 basis point interest rate cut have just TRIPLED seemingly overnight.
In fact, the base case now shows a 50 basis point rate cut in September, according to Polymarket.
Markets now see at least 100 basis points of rates cuts in 2024.
Buckle up.
As interest rates crash 60+ basis points in a month, we are watching the housing market.
For years, the narrative for higher home prices was that no one wanted to sell.
Millions of Americans carry 3% mortgages with over 60% of borrowers having a rate below 4%.
Soon, mortgage rates will drop back below 6% and likely even approach 5%.
The question becomes: at what level do existing home owners decide to begin letting go of their 3% mortgages?
It's likely that this level is approaching faster than many expect.
And when it arrives, expect a major flood of supply in the housing market.
2025 will be a wild year for real estate prices.
BREAKING: The average rate on a 30-year mortgage plunges 22 basis points in one day to 6.40%.
This is now the lowest average rate on a 30-year mortgage since April 2023.
The recent high on a 30-year fixed mortgage was at 7.52% in late April 2024.
Housing supply is set to return.
Vamos a cobrar.
