open models and memory pair well together as well. They both contribute towards companies and enterprises owning their whole stack - from the model level all the way up to the context level

with all this hate, I'd like to use this platform to say the following. I will say it now once, and then I will ignore the hate and do back to shipping!

1. The hate will not stop me from working on cool things that excites me, and that I believe have a great potential. We are researching and experimenting with the next interfaces for Human<>AI interactions, hardware and software. The name of this wave I have right now, is 'presence' - how can we make AI be present across human environments (digital and physical as one), understand human intent, and be proactive.

2. We have some really cool stuff to share in this regards in the next days/weeks and months!

3. I've been open source, pro-privacy and data ownership advocate for many years, and actively created projects and products in this space, directly.

4. Generally, I'd say Israel has top tier talent, and its people are behind the technologies you all use every single day on your phone, computer, in your cloud, GPUs, the AI models themselves, everything. If you choose to boycutt, I ask you do it fully, and good luck! (you probably can't reply to this tweet without touching an Israeli technology)

5. To all the Jewish people who follow me, stay strong, stay proud - and if you are in SF, I'm hosting Shabbats often, DM me!

6. If anyone is ever interested in getting to know more Jewish and Israeli founders, I am more than happy to introduce :) and if anyone is curious and want to learn about Jewish culture, as well!

“Pure joy in the air” is how an Israeli journalist describes the mood in Israel right now.

But how could that be?

If the Israelis want, above all, genocide and ethnic cleansing, then why would they celebrate a deal that ends the war with no ethnic cleansing and 97% of the Gazans alive?

“Pure joy” is not what you feel when your deepest ambitions have just been thwarted.

It’s almost as if the goal of the war really was to get the hostages back and oust Hamas. It’s almost as if Israelis are motivated by a deep, dark desire to…live in peace with their neighbors.

I spent the first two and a half weeks of June in Tel Aviv, including the beginning of the war with Iran - and that’s exactly how it felt. Israeli resilience is difficult to understand.

To those making comments about diversity: take a closer look. You see here Israelis from every background - North African, European, Arab descent. There are 168,000 Jews of Ethiopian descent out of a population of 10 million.

What you witness is the vibrancy of Tel Aviv: open, diverse, young, hard working and hard partying.
