Another day of Israel’s bloody “ceasefire.” Another list of names added to the dead.
Three civilian paramedics Ali Faour, Moustapha Kamal & Mousa Miqdad were killed in Debaal while trying to save lives.
Dr. Rayan Ftouni was killed in Abbasiyah.
Fatima Ramadan was killed in Tyre.
Abed Bourji & his wife Nada were killed together in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr.
Newlyweds buried. Mothers buried. Rescue workers buried in the same rubble they once pulled others from.
If this is what the very first day of their “ceasefire” looks like, then the days ahead promise only more graves, more rubble & more lies dressed up as diplomacy.
South Lebanon is bleeding openly while Washington, Israel & their Lebanese accomplices keep selling slaughter to the world under the label of “ceasefire.”
Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed.
Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.
Israel killed Rouqayya and her little girl today in Tayr Debba, South Lebanon.
Rouqayya was pregnant.
They murdered a mother, her little daughter, and her unborn child.
This is what Israel calls a “ceasefire.
Israel executed Hadi, Hussein, and Hussein today in Majdalzoun, South Lebanon.
Not fighters. Not armed.
Three paramedics on the front lines — assassinated while saving lives.
Israel destroyed the statue of Jesus Christ in the Christian village of Debel, South Lebanon.
Now they’re bulldozing the solar panels that provide electricity and water.
Not military targets.
Critical infrastructure.
This is the deliberate targeting of civilian life.
One killed journalist might be a tragic accident.
Two killed journalists are undeniable attempts to intimidate journalists and suppress freedom of press.
Over 260 dead journalists in 2.5 years is the works of the most ruthless terrorist organization in the history of the world.
Israel operates the most well-documented torture & rape dungeon in the world:
A 42-year-old woman from north Gaza, former Sde Teiman innmate said:
"She was bound naked to a metal table and repeatedly raped by two masked soldiers over the course of two days.
She recalled that she was left shackled, naked and bleeding throughout the night before the soldiers returned the next day to continue raping her.
Throughout her ordeal, she was filmed. Soldiers later showed her the footage while she was hung by her wrists under interrogation, threatening to publish the videos if she did not "cooperate".
Amir, a 35-year-old Palestinian man also held at Sde Teiman, recounted how soldiers forced him to strip naked, before their dogs urinated on him and raped him.
He described how the dog "penetrated my anus in a trained manner while I was being beaten".
"This continued for several minutes. I felt profoundly humiliated and violated."
...a soldier in Sde Teiman inserted a fire extinguisher nozzle into a Palestinian prisoner’s anus and then discharged its contents into his body, resulting in severe internal injuries and intense pain."
If you want to understand Gaza right now, just look at this plate.
This was at the start of Ramadan — most of it made by @WCKitchen. It was one of those moments after famine when we finally started to breathe again… barely eat again.
Today, Israel closed the borders.
No aid is entering. The kitchen that feeds tens of thousands is about to shut down.
And after the Iran–Israel news, prices exploded overnight in Gaza, food started vanishing from the markets. And a new humanitarian crisis is already looming.
I haven’t enjoyed a meal like this since the famine paused. Our relationship with food is broken — we eat with fear, every bite feels temporary, like it could disappear any moment.
Meet Israel’s latest “threat.”
Ali Jaber, 2 years old. Killed by an Israeli drone strike in Yanouh, South Lebanon, alongside his father.
What was his crime? Being born on the wrong side of a border?
Maybe they’ll say he was Hezbollah too. Maybe next they’ll target cribs & call them command centers.
This comes 24 hours after the weakling American-appointed Lebanese prime minister toured areas in the south telling people ‘that no one can provide guarantees that Israel will not bomb Lebanon, including himself.’
He was right. And a child paid the price. One of over 400 people, mostly civilians killed since the “ceasefire” came into effect 14 months ago.
Call it what it is: State-sanctioned child murder.
