I am walking 26 Miles to raise money for the Alzheimer’s society. My nana is currently battling the awful disease, it’s heartbreaking seeing Alzheimer’s take someone so special.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated 🥾🚶♀️⛰️

@CityFibre I’ve had no WiFi for two weeks! Had 5 different sets of engineers come out and still no further, no communication… Very poor service.

@VodafoneUK Yes I have and I raised this issue on the 26th of September and made countless calls… to be told it’s with @CityFibre we don’t have an update?!
Our volunteers recently extended the reach of our Tang Hall Beck corridor, moving further upstream in an effort to clean up the beck as much as possible. Once again pulling on our very holey waders and faced the waters to pull out a huge amount of litter. Thank you so much team!
This evening, at the AGM of the Gild of Freemen of @CityofYork, the 2021-22 Civic Party were all made honorary members. The meeting also saw the Master present a cheque to @CandlelightersT who support children with cancer. York’s guilds and companies do so much great work!
Great to join @DanielleMason95 at these awards tonight. The impact our student community make to York is phenomenal and so wide ranging, from food banks to supporting schools and helping look after green spaces. 👏👏👏 @yusuactivities
Carers have gone to amazing lengths during Covid and this week is about raising awareness of caring, highlighting the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK! #CarersWeek
York Normandy Veterans and friends on their way to Normandy for the 78th anniversary of the Normandy Campaign and D Day led by our talisman Green Howard Veteran Ken Cooke (96)
The end of a wonderful Civic Year. It’s been an enormous honour & privilege to serve the City of #York alongside @AshleyMasonYork@DanielleMason95@LordMayorYork and @JoyCullwick. Met some very interesting people and learnt a lot about local history & organisations along the way.
Today marks the end of a special year for Lord Mayor Chris Cullwick and the rest of the civic party – Lady Mayoress Joy Cullwick, Sheriff Ashley Mason and Sheriff’s Lady Danielle Mason
