MAGA loves to brag about being “law and order,” “tough on crime” but this just happened in the deep red state of Florida, under Ron DeSantis.

A 25-year-old man kidnapped a 13-year-old girl, raped her repeatedly for several hours and RECORDED IT. Police found 20 videos of the attack on his phone, plus 60 additional images/videos of child sexual abuse material.

He faced over 300 years in prison. Prosecutors gave him 25 years. He could be out in 18.

He wasn’t an undocumented immigrant, not a trans or a Muslim so you won’t see the usual Republican outrage machine screaming about this case.

I read the bill. It’s all about “devastating medical diagnoses” of the unborn child. But nothing that would prevent them from being born. They’re not going to detonate when they breathe oxygen. There’s literally no medical reason to destroy a full term infant even if it’s not going to live long past birth. The mother already brought it to full term, it’s got to come out anyway. Why does it have to come out dead? Deep down it reveals an aesthetic disgust and horror with children deemed imperfect and a need to rid the earth of them. An ancient human impulse that Christianity finally countered.
