Very hard to fathom the sudden passing of the wonderful Ollie Favier from @GlenfleskGAA. Fine player, entrepreneur. Well known across Cork and Kerry and recently owner of The Shire in Killarney. Remembered before Kerry-Mayo in Tralee along with Fr Paddy O’Donoghue.

Fáilte Ireland has today launched a new five-year plan that will help drive and sustain tourism in North Kerry and West Clare (Cliff Coast) at @BGestatehotel, Tralee, Co. Kerry.

The Cliff Coast Destination and Experience Development Plan (DEDP) aims to create a sustainable tourism destination by extending the tourism season and spreading business across all parts of the region over the next five years.

Key stakeholders in the area were consulted and contributed to the plan including @countykerry, @ClareCoCo, @IHFcomms, LEADER, local tourism groups and operators and community networks.

Celebrating 10 Years of the Wild Atlantic Way on @RTENationwide 🌊

RTÉ Nationwide is dedicating its next six episodes to marking the 10th anniversary of the @wildatlanticway. Starting tonight, the series will take viewers on an incredible journey along the iconic coastal route.

The mini-series will explore the unique stories, businesses and communities that make the Wild Atlantic Way special. Viewers will also hear from @Failte_Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way team on the creation and impact of the globally renowned brand — and what’s ahead for the next decade.

The series kicks off tonight in County Donegal.
