I do think the simplicity of this new aspect being added, will attract a lot of more people to want to come to the games because of how easy everything will be with the less waits and lines #srm3224#group3
I'd also wanted to mention that the "privacy issues" that would arise would probably be no different than what's already happening. People having our data has always been a thing, and it's never gonna really change. The sooner we stop being paranoid the happier we'll be #SRM3224
@aarongg_tu @Andrew_BoscoSRM I don't know if I would say going to far considering the amount facial recognition is already used and people aren't just as aware of that #srm3224#group3
The other problem with facial recognition is privacy issues. A lot of people are unaware they are giving consent for facial recognition and stadiums need to be transparent with fans if they are using the technology for safety concerns. #SRM3224#group4
@Andrew_BoscoSRM I agree that if used poorly, facial recognition could end up hurting the wrong people and could be a potential invasion of privacy. #SRM3224#Group4
i definitely think this will take time to be perfected especially with when people are still wearing face coverings and can cover their faces it could make aspects of this difficult #srm3224#group3
@JonathanScottTU I think this will make the fan experience way quicker and more enjoyable which will allow more people to be willing to come out to games #srm3224#group3
I really thought it was interesting in the article how they talked about using facial recognition to help prevent crime. This could change a lot of aspects of sports and safety #srm3224#group3
I think facial recognition can go both ways on how people feel about it but as far as the article goes, I feel as though facial recognition is enhancing and making all forms of experience in these cases run way smoother. #srm3224#group3
Nike received some major backlash over an ad campaign for women's clothing when they used a transgender influencer in the ad campaigns. This ad caused alot of noise towards the company. #srm3224
@CalebSRM3224 I think that's a really good point to be made but when people have the want to learn and things matter to them, I think they can retain that information #srm3224#group3
I think with access to this information does allow us to process and pick up things faster because we have the ability to learn and pick up skills or info in a matter of minutes, and then retain that skill or information #srm3224#group3
I believe humans are adapting in a way to accommodate for technological advancements, we are already seeing studies on how screen time effects infants as we see a new form of babysitting in tablets and screens #Srm3224#group4
