First investment of the £5K → £100K journey.
I've just put £500 into $SIVE.
That's 10% of the portfolio committed on day one.
Could it go against me? Absolutely.
Could it be a great decision? Time will tell.
The point of this account isn't to pretend every pick is a winner.
It's to document the journey, the mistakes, and the lessons along the way.
Position #1: $SIVE
Portfolio: £5,000
Invested: £500
Let's see how this plays out. 🇬🇧📈

Been looking through $KTOS Kratos Defense and honestly it’s pretty interesting.
They’re not just some boring defence stock. They’re involved in drones, hypersonics, rocket systems, space/satellite stuff and electronic warfare.
Few numbers that stood out to me:
- Revenue: $371m, up 22.6% YoY
- Unmanned systems: up 30.9%
- Bookings: $605m
- Backlog: $2.01 bn
- Bid pipeline: $14.3 bn
The backlog is the part I like most. It looks like demand is actually coming through, not just hype around defence spending.
Only issue is valuation. It’s already had a strong move and doesn’t exactly look cheap now.
Definitely adding $KTOS to my watchlist though. Feels like one of those next-gen defence names worth keeping an eye on.
This one was recommended by someone within the community and all I have to say is WOW!
Kioxia $KXIAY is one of the wildest AI infrastructure names I’ve looked at.
This isn’t just “AI hype” either… the numbers are moving.
FY Mar 2026:
- Revenue: ¥2.34tn, +37% YoY
- Operating profit: ¥870bn, +93% YoY
- Net profit: ¥555bn, +104% YoY
- Operating margin: 37.2%
The real eye opener is the next quarter forecast:
- Revenue: ¥1.75tn
- Operating profit: ¥1.30tn
- Net profit: ¥869bn
That would be more net profit in one quarter than they made in the whole of FY2026.
AI data centres need insane amounts of fast storage, and Kioxia is one of the major NAND / SSD players.
