Any Given Sunday has to be posted on #SuperBowl Sunday because it’s probably my favorite football film ever & an all-time sports film. Al Pacino crushed this role. He’s outstanding. And overall, this movie explored a lot of dark sides of the game that needed to be explored.
Like Morgan McSweeney won't still be working for Starmer covertly - on think tanks, private emails and via caldestine last night meeting.
He was the sacrificial lamb, to save Starmer but NOTHING will change.
@BBCBreaking Shame on BBC for never digging deep into the Epstein files outside of your obsession with Trump and Prince Andrew. There was always a big story here that you could have stayed on top of.
But you didn’t. Because you are not real journalists.
I’ve seen way too many people on here (mainly rival fans, to be fair) downplaying how good Steven Gerrard was by comparing him to clearly subpar players who aren’t anywhere near his level. Have a little watch of this for a small glimpse into his genius. 🧙♂️
In October 2001, supermodel Karen Mulder went on a French talk show and accused powerful people -- including Politicians and Royals -- of Sexual Abuse and Human Trafficking.
The interview was pulled before it aired, and the footage was destroyed.
Mulder was called "crazy" and admitted to a psychiatric hospital -- but one of the Abusers was later outed as an Epstein fixer, and another was retroactively charged with multiple Rapes.
She was telling the TRUTH all along.
Raheem Sterling on the day Suárez taught him how things are done in South America:
"I will never forget the day Luis Suárez's ankle got ridiculously swollen. Any other player would have said, 'No, this is definitely not my day, I'm not playing.'
But Suárez decided to get an injection and play that game. His ankle looked like a ball, and he had to wear Steven Gerrard’s boots, which were at least two sizes bigger. Suárez went out there and scored a hat-trick. No other player would have done that."
Zack Polanski, "Palantir.. £240 million contract last month"
"That was lobbied by Global Counsel which is Peter Mandelson's lobbying group"
"Alongside Wes Streeting the Health Secretary, close friend of Peter Mandelson"
"I've written to the Health Secretary today to say we have to break that contract"
"The idea that a defence company from the US has its fingerprints all over our healthcare system, alongside Peter Mandelson"
"It's a whole range of questions that need answers urgently"
This was the Keir Starmer a few months ago, after Peter Mandleson was vetted by this Labour government.
Mandleson’s appointment as US ambassador, despite his links with Epstein being public knowledge, was a huge error of judgement.
Starmer should resign.
Difficult to overstate the gravity of the Mandelson affair. A cabinet minister, during a financial crisis, allegedly leaking highly-confidential and market-sensitive information to a mega-rich financier (and convicted paedophile) who had been personally bankrolling him, while also privately suggesting the CEO of a top investment bank 'threaten' his own chancellor in an effort to force a change of policy. Potentially one of the most serious scandals in British political history, surely?
Piers Morgan interviewed head of the Taliban in Qatar. Taliban leaders send their daughters to schools in Qatar while they ban Afghanistan girls from school.
“Just for the record do your two daughters go to school?”
“Of course they do”
Complete animals.
After seeing some of the anti Slot comments on here tonight, after THAT performance and 10 goals in 4 days.
I'm beginning to wonder how many of these accounts are bots, just fucking with us. 🤔
Hugo Ekitike will rightfully get all the plaudits tonight ..
But honestly, Ibrahima Konate scoring today and putting in one of those performances that goes way beyond football.
To lose your father and then, just days later, walk out under the lights and play with that level of focus, strength, and heart.
It’s hard to even put into words. Ibrahima Konaté wasn’t just defending tonight he was standing tall. Every header, every tackle, every moment felt like pure determination and inner strength.
It’s been a tough, frustrating season for him, but tonight he reminded everyone who he is. Colossal doesn’t even cover it. That was grief, pride, resilience, and professionalism all rolled into one performance.
NOTHING BUT RESPECT
Some nights you remember the football others you remember the man. This was the latter. ❤️
