«Winning before going to war: Understanding emerging viruses to prepare for pathogen X«
Well, that was easy - at least if the bacterial pathogen is not an obscure organism, we usually find lots of phages (here: uropathogenic E.coli). The more tricky next steps would be 1) to choose the right ones for therapy and 2) to effectively apply them to the patient... 🧬💉💊
🌟 Can you treat #acne with... #phages?! 🌟
🔬 I'm very happy to share an update on an acne treatment research I'm leading at the School of Pharmacy, Queen’s University Belfast, UK. This project is part of the Innovate UK funded program #ICURe Discover.
