Every night children were being killed by stray bullets. This was the context to “super predators”.

@wondermann5 It’s something because Superman is one of the few characters I think each film reiteration makes cheaper rather than stronger. I don’t feel the same about Spider-Man or Batman. There’s something about portraying a good guy which filmmakers always need to corrupt.

@ChildPleez007 To be clear: when there is a presidential ticket attached, the down ballot sees higher voter turnout than usual. AOC got about 1% higher turnout than Crowley who she unseated. That isn’t earth shattering. Why are “big crowds” the new Dem talking points? We sound like MAGA.

@ChildPleez007 I have voted for her, but in primaries I have voted for other Democrats. She has some of the lowest voter turnout (14% compared to national local 24%). The media never dives into this. Granted, she could have a wider appeal, but I’d be way more excited if her local #’s were 48%!
