It was a cold and windy day for Cross Country Sectionals but Saraland swept and took 1st place in 6A for girls and boys. Danny ran great and came in 7th! Headed to State!

Several of our Saraland High School Cross Country boys are currently ranked among the top 1000 returning runners in the state. With the season just getting underway, I expect many of their times from last year to drop significantly in the coming months.

Saraland High School Cross Country tryouts begin today, Thursday, May 15, 2025. Tryouts will last until 7:30 PM. All participants must have their DragonFly information and physicals completed prior to attending. Additionally, it's important to bring water to stay hydrated during the tryouts.
If you haven't signed up yet, please do so immediately. Athletes entering grades 7–12 for the 2025–2026 school year are eligible to try out.
