Fire Boone. I have been a supporter for the entire time. Always gave him benefit of the doubt. Starting Grisham leadoff was malpractice. He went 0-5 and had the last out. Pathetic. Cant beat any al east team when it matters
Been in The league 14 yrs. Had a 13 yr old he feels he doesn’t see enough along with 2 others. All with his ex wife
He’s been vocal about his mental health for years
On top of that both of his parents are sick and he’s their caretaker. Literally missed training camp and days because of this.
And Stephen A Smith is on national tv making fun of him. This is pathetic work even for him.
It’s also the fact that no one intervened. No one stepped in to correct him. This is actually really, really shitty. It’s Wednesday. He’s had a whole day to come up with a take that wasn’t whatever this shit is.
Feels like throughout my lifetime, the Rays have been the Yankees most consistent #2 rival. They play the Yankees close every year, are polar opposite organizations in just about every meaningful way you can imagine, and have had more legitimate on-field beef with the team than any other AL team in the last 15 years.
I grew up hating Evan Longoria as much as I did Pedroia/Papi. Those 2010-2014 Rays teams I remember watching gave the Yankees ridiculously tough battles.

For those few years after the Rays lost in 08 and the Yanks won in 09, the Rays had some really good teams that pushed the Yankees' buttons in the AL East up until the Yankees went into their retool phase.
Then you fast forward to 2019-2021, the Rays were easily without a doubt the Yankees biggest obstacle and most hated rival on the field without question. It felt unjust for that saga of Yankees-Rays to end in a Covid playoff bracket only to never meet with the crowd theatric after or before that despite all the back/forth through the years.
It only feels right that these two teams this season get to play each other in October.
So, a Muslim co-pilot flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv stabs the other pilot and starts screaming “Allahu Akbar”, attempting to deliberately crash the plane in a suicide mission.
Passengers were able to get into the cockpit and subdue the terrorist. Two of the passengers were also pilots and took control of the aircraft, landing it safely and saving all 180 people on board from what would otherwise have been a fatal crash.
They really just tried to carry out a 9/11 style attack on Israel and it went wrong. Pro-Palestinian activists must be very upset.
