🚨 Kieran Trippier is considering ripping up his contract with Wolves following the shock sacking of Rob Edwards today.
😡 The 35-year-old is angry and feels betrayed at the decision this morning. Edwards being in charge was key to him joining The Championship club last week.
😳 Trippier was shocked to learn the news this morning (not from anyone at the club) just two days after he passed a medical & was paraded as Wolves’ marquee first summer signing.
🐺 Trippier has essentially signed a pre-contract, so he joins Wolves next month, when his contract at Newcastle ends.
😤 The defender chose Wolves over a host of other interested clubs, and those clubs are still there. He’s now considering his options…

Bristol City are in talks to appoint former Notts County boss Ian Burchnall as assistant to new manager Michael Skubala. Burchnall is Skubala’s No.1 target to join him as his assistant at Ashton Gate. #BristolCity
There are a lot of very capable Championship goalkeepers on the market this summer.
Birmingham City need a No.1 capable of matching their planned trajectory and Radek Vitek is a good bet, particularly if Manchester United are open to a permanent sale.

Please James Ellis Charlie boss etc look into this, get our best players signing contracts with release clauses at least it protects us, on another note hopefully some more sell on money coming 💰#bristolcity
🚨🍒 New contract proposal from Bournemouth to Alex Scott includes the possibility to include a release clause.
Club did the same with Huijsen, Rayan and more - ready to replicate model with Scott if player accepts.
🚨NEW: Wigan Today understands talks of Sam Tickle leaving the club are premature.
Latics have yet to receive a bid from Bristol City which reaches their valuation of the keeper. #wafc [@PKendrickWIG]
Just as I thought, seems like a great shot stopper which is obviously a top top priority but almost as important is how dominant you are aerially especially in the championship! Let’s hope he is an upgrade on max because nobody realistically we can get is anything like Vitek!

@DannyJVeale Poor, very reluctant to leave his line. Shocking distribution as well, like as bad as I’ve ever seen from a keeper. Think that’s the reason why the top clubs aren’t interested. Still sad to see him leave, we’d be in league two now if it wasn’t for him last season.
In all fairness I could probably get a compilation like this of o Leary! What’s he like coming for crosses and the command of his box from set pieces etc Wigan fans? #wafc
