The Danny Art Deco steam tugboat is part of our history brought back to life. We offer engaging and creative opportunities for learners of all ages to enjoy it.
Very proud to have been nominated as Social Enterprise of the Year at the Halton Business Awards this year. We lost out last night to the worthiest of winners - the wonderful team at Halton Haven Hospice. Congratulations to them @dannyinsteam @HeritageFundUK
Post WW2 lots our wonderful #Canals and #Rivers fell into disrepair but slowly, many were restored by #Volunteers for us to enjoy today, contributing to the #economy#wellbeing#leisure we MUST NOT allow them to fall into disrepair again due to lack of funding #fundourwaterways
20 Years ago today a group of enthusiasts met at Ellesmere Port just days before the 1903 steam ship Daniel Adamson was to be scrapped. They resolved to save the ship and the Daniel Adamson Preservation Society was formed.
The rest, as they say, is History.
