I don't think most of Charlton's supporters are as reactionary as that account. So, I don't think Jones will be sacked this season.

But if the club itself was actually foolish enough to sack Jones, then I'd tell Wilshere to pack his bags the moment Charlton made it official.

@uptheluton But even that will depend on our recruitment; in order for us to be promoted from League One within the coming couple of years, the team that handles our transfers will have to drastically improve their strategies based on what we've seen since January 2024. 4/4

@uptheluton In the meantime, I think he will endeavour to ensure that come the end of the 2025/26 season, the players he wants to push on with are all acquainted with his system, so that we can mount a competitive League One campaign for promotion in the 2026/27 season. 3/4
