@BNightengale I like reading your piece about CB, but what am I missing? I was sure you’d at least mention the garbage can stuff — seeing as though it was literally in the headline and at this point, how does any story about him not include a mention of this. Am I confused?
@Grady Here i am annoyed - this very good announcer on a huge platformis mispronouncing the last name of a Nuggets starter all game?!? I mean, come on. Do we not do basic prep for broadcasts anymore? Now here I am - tipping my hat. That's on me - it's pronounced like the color.
@cjasminest I liked the piece about social posts from people from in about work. By the way, those posts haven’t been “tweets” in years (because it’s no longer twitter)
@AlissaHirsh progress? Steps forward? What am I missing? On most days they are the worst or tied for worst in the W. almost September and they have single digit wins. on-court product is abysmal, w/ them seemingly always down double digits. intentional to mention W/L at the end?
@kelseyriggs in tennis, a serve down the middle or down the center is not a serve that hits the center of the court. Sinner’s ace that landed in the center of the court is a serve “down the T.” (An ace down the center would be one that lands in center of the service box)
@CEmma670 so is this now a thing where if you’re on the flagship radio station of one team, you don’t give the score of the other team’s game during an update? I’m pretty sure your update just now didn’t include the White Sox/royals game. How is that possible? What am I missing?
@IkramMohamed_ Hi, Ikram. Can you take a look at the email I sent u? It's an inspiring student success story I thought you you might want to move on. After all, it is graduation season. Nicholas' journey is powerful for those seeking a career change or a return to school. Thanks.
Zach Edey. That is what and who I will remember this All-Star game for. it’s 9:30 PM ET on Sunday night of All-Star weekend—fans in the arena and at home should not be subjected to watching Edey starting and missing shots; they should be watching 10 actual All-Stars on the court
I know more than most about sports radio programming but certainly less than hosts, producers and PD at the Score, but when daughter of George Halas dies, gotta be at least consideration around shelving segment that recaps silly news stories, right? listeners seemed to agree
listening to @mharrisonair + @dan_bernstein show on @670TheScore when Virginia M. news broke - 11:40AM. surprised when they didn't take reax over scheduled "high noon," a regular segment I personally find unfunny. matriarch of Bears dies but let's talk minnesotan beaver story? !?
@DataSkrive@AP_Sports@Sportradar@espn regular https://t.co/rEp4yTgEju = no mention of Depaul snapping 39 game L streak; https://t.co/qWPsYkTmoW’s AP-informed story had it in 2nd paragraph. Help me understand. What if reporters/staff wrote stories and, ya know, covered sports?
@DataSkrive about these AI type game recaps —they miss stuff. Like tonight, when @DataSkrive and @espn and @AP_Sports and @Sportradar combined to write Depaul–Georgetown game story; they left out Depaul snapped 39 game reg season losing streak. Reporters -aka humans - catch that.
