Announced today by the BBC, Doctor Who is now on hiatus with showrunner Russell T Davies leaving.

The long running show is now on ‘competitive tender’, where other companies could make a pitch for the show to the BBC on a ‘work for hire basis’.

Is this a needed break for the series, and how soon until it returns?

Scary Movie 6 was basically just the Wayan brothers taking jabs at the studio for replacing them and trying to convince everyone that their movies were funnier. The joke gets old… really fucking quick.
