People in the comments talking about she can choose to support whoever she wants and theyโre rightโฆ she can. And LGBT people can also choose not to honor her for possible affiliation with others who want to strip them of their rights. Like, okay. It goes both ways.
@umichvoter Yeah, and that's a very good point. I suppose it's something to consider if there are shorter lines, etc. But I'm for anything that encourages voting. And if long lines deter anyone, then I'm all for drop boxes. I think the issue lies in the counting of ballots.
@umichvoter As a Californian who uses drop box over in-person voting, oftentimes, my main reason is the ability to research the endless amounts of candidates, propositions, and measures. My last ballot took nearly 30 minutes to fill out thoughtfully. I can't imagine doing that in person.
Reporter: Are you attending your sonโs wedding?
Trump: Heโd like me to go. Iโm going to try. I said, this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things. Heโs a person Iโve known for a long time.
If you call Film LA, the very first option is to report a production you think should be shut down for not having a permit.
The third option is to try and get a permit. If you don't get your application in my 10am a week before the shoot, they will not process your application. Not 10:05, not 12pm. Must be in by 10am. When you speak to the person at Film LA, they truly sound like they don't even want you to shoot there.
I hope whoever our next mayor is shuts down Film LA and makes it free and easy to get a permit.
LA has the best crews, the best casts, the best weather. It shouldn't be cheaper and easier to fly to Oklahoma and shoot there than it is to shoot at home. It's time to bring filmmaking back to LA.

Iโm worried the 2028 Democratic presidential candidates will look a lot like the super-bland 2026 California gubernatorial field. Itโs time to stop running on โI have the most experienceโ and instead run on โThese are the best policies and most transformative solutions.โ
