John Stewart's Oath:
In Brightest Day
In Darkest Night
I’ll embrace my fear…
I’ll do what’s right
I choose this ring,
I choose this fight…
In service to this lanterns light. #Lanterns
I’m not saying this is every Florida Panthers fan, but the majority I see are so quick to jump on Canes fans for absolutely no reason. Anytime we say anything, they immediately bring up their playoff success and act like they’re 20 times better than us. I respect what Florida has accomplished—going back-to-back is obviously amazing—but let’s be real, we’ve made the playoffs nine years in a row and just won the Stanley Cup last year. Florida has only really been relevant for the last few years, yet some of their fans act like they’ve been dominating the league forever. I have no problem giving them credit, but the constant superiority complex is just ridiculous. 😭
Lanterns writer Vanessa Baden Kelly: "Green Lantern Ring is sexist because it didn’t choose John Stewart’s mom."
Fun facts:
No woman invented DC comic books.
No woman invented Green Lantern.
No woman invented John Stewart.
No woman saw a Green Lantern comic book and thought "let me create my own female version."
Its always "LETS STEAL SOMETHING FROM THE WHITE MAN AND CRY RACIST IF HE COMPLAINS ABOUT IT."
The ring would never choose a BLACK WOMAN because, as you yourself are showing us, your values are selfish, deceitful, and inconsitent with the values of the Green Lantern Corp.
But apparently if a BLACK WOMAN doesn’t get what she wants, it's because the universe itself is SEXIST AND RACIST.
So to all BLACK WOMEN IN MEDIA:
Please stop acting like you’re OWED something - when you contributed NOTHING to anything.
I should never have to wear a bulletproof vest just to walk onto a college campus and speak the truth about the value of human life. But this is the reality pro-life activists face.
It’s no surprise that a culture which celebrates violence against preborn children also promotes hatred and threats toward those who defend them.
But we will not be intimidated into silence.
Because lives are on the line. Every mind changed and every baby saved makes the fight worth it.
This fall, I’m heading back to college campuses across the country to spread the pro-life message. No matter the backlash, no matter the threats, we will keep showing up.
We will not back down until abortion is abolished.
I rewatched to make sure I wasn’t too harsh but no
The lesson of the episode is
Merit & character don’t matter, only your color
And that being a victim is okay because it’s destiny
And that your mom is stronger than your father in every way always so it’s okay that she’s evil
The Clancey trial has done more to show the distinction between modern male and modern female virtues than any other single event in recent memory. Modern women have become incompetent, immoral, and driven heavily by hatred of accountability.
