Had a great time surveying for ladybirds in Springbank Cemetery. 6 species were found in total: Orange, Cream Spot, 2-Spot, 10-Spot, Larch, and the invasive non-native Harlequin ladybird.

When I woke up yesterday morning, I'd never even seen a Waxwing. A few hours later, I was holding one in my hand, fitting it with a unique colour ring combination as part of the BTO ringing scheme. What a privilege to see these stunning birds up close.
