💡 New: The head of Democratic Super PAC @prioritiesUSA warns that a potential “Blue Wave” shouldn’t give her party too much comfort heading into 2028...

NEW — Senate Leadership Fund plans to spend more than $1 million in Mississippi’s Senate race to defend Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith against Democrat Scott Colom, per Semafor.
The buy follows Senate Majority PAC’s $1.2 million ad campaign.
If a third-party candidate gets 3%, a Democrat doesn’t need 50% to win. They need 48.5.
In the new Cook Political Report poll, the Libertarian is at 3% in Texas and 8% in Iowa. Read more here: https://t.co/C2ayRoxfiM
Third-party candidates like Ralph Nader and Jill Stein handed the White House to the Republicans.
This year, Libertarians and other independent candidates may make it easier for Democrats to win the Senate.
Let me explain:
Trump rented young voters in 2024. Looks like we might rent them in 2026. The challenge over the two years to come is actually earning their trust so we can keep them - not easy, given how hard it will be for Congress to actually govern!
🔴 News - Crypto megadonors have increased their spending to $55 million in Ohio to oppose Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown in his close race against Republican Senator Jon Husted
@RevAdamHamilton had an amazing closing statement:
"If you appreciate having record diesel prices, 50,000 people taken off of healthcare, thousands of children no longer receiving SNAP benefits. If you feel it is OK having ICE arrest in southwest KS and hurting our livestock industry, if you think the tariffs are good and the unpredictability and chaos and corruption are OK in Washington then I would say vote for Roger Marshall."
This guy and @TeamHamiltonHQ are showing us a masterclass in taking advantage of the political environment and running a spectacular campaign the last six weeks of this cycle.
Republicans have spent weeks claiming the midterms are tightening and that things aren't as bad as they look. The new NYT poll says otherwise, and the most alarming numbers for the GOP aren’t in the top lines.
The bottom is falling out for Trump. Link to my poll analysis below
Just before this poll hit, the Mitchell poll that also showed me in single digits hit. That poll was bullshit - and our team proved it. It was an open SurveyMonkey link that people were able to send around to friends and take multiple times. We expended a lot of capital (and took a serious risk) - calling it out as bullshit. MIRS ultimately declined to publish it because of shoddy methodology.
But then this one hit immediately after. It was a one-two punch. Then all of the sudden it was a pattern - and people believed it had to be true.
It killed us.
These were some of the absolute worst days on the campaign. Especially for my team. There are no words to explain the morale blow, and nothing I could do or say to my team to fix it. Just an excruciating, nauseating blow.
By that point, we took a risk and we spend our money. We put our ads up. They were working. But the damage was done. And I was drowned out by outside spending and the narrative that we had completely collapsed.
As one of the candidates featured in these polls - the infamous one in late June that showed me plummeting into single digits (which was at odds with our internals) - here's the impact of this "experiment"
- Donations dried up
- Volunteers were devastated and pleading for guidance on what to do
- Reporters hounded me with calls to drop out
Sure, a point was proven. Polling is broken. But tens of thousands of people poured their hearts, time, energy, hard-earned money into something they believed in - for a year-and-a-half, and it was treated like a game. Our volunteers gave their all. And then some. I felt like I had let so many of them down.
To be extremely clear, Michigan Democrats are locked in to beat Mike Rogers. We WILL send @AbdulElSayed to the US Senate.
But between crap like this, endless fundraising texts that drive supporters away with spammy fake deadlines and trash "match" claims, scam PACs run rampant for firms to grift without actually supporting candidates, undisclosed content creators pushing content out either misrepresenting themselves as residents of states they don't live in or hiding whether they were paid and by who so they could make a buck, and the tidal wave of dark money ads -- I hope Democrats are ready to blow up the system with campaign finance and transparency reforms.
Trust is already at an all-time low. We don't get out of this mess without rebuilding trust.
And media - who loves to ride the drama of a pollercoaster - needs to take a hard look at what's legitimate and what's not.
If this teaches us anything - DON'T GET COMPLACENT AND DON'T TRUST THE POLLS.
LOCK IN. SIGN UP FOR A CANVASSING SHIFT. LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.

Trump: "With Roger Marshall in the Senate, we will make year-round E15 permanent. But if Adam Hamilton is in, I'm not going it. That's it. I'm only doing it for him. That's a big deal for Kansas."
YIKES. Roger Marshall’s closing message on spiking gas prices: “There are things more important than money to Kansans”
This is the guy who sued his own patients for bills as small as $101, by the way #KSSEN
