Because MY is bigger and there's an audience for that
If CyberCar is smaller than M3
People will still go for the M3...
If CyberCar is a 5-seater like the M3 and has great storage though, it could be a problem, because it would be too similar.
But if it's a 2-seater like the CyberCab, it will target a lot of new customers.

If with the snap of your fingers you could have more highly profitable models to reach the broader audience, and even have ATV's, snowmobiles, lawnmowers, drones, etc. it would be better. One can't snap their fingers and make that happen, so priorities first.
