We’re gifting $1 billion to @JohnsHopkins to cover the cost of tuition for medical students from families earning under $300,000 a year – which represents 95 percent of all Americans. Building on our work to increase U.S. life expectancy, this gift will also increase financial aid for @JHUNursing and @JohnsHopkinsSPH – as well as other graduate schools. https://t.co/SHiktU0BTn
It was great to attend the Mass ACS meeting today #mcacs & speak with brilliant surgeons & students about their research! It was reassuring to hear how DRs like @hayfarani are improving safety by investigating ways to promote wellness via peer support in high stress environments.
Was also very cool to learn about cutting edge reconstructive plastic surgery! The development of VR surgery tools and other new surgical technologies is so inspiring… very curious to see how the field will have changed by the time I am practicing 🤞
This was an amazing talk to attend! Very interesting to hear about @CarlaPughMDPhD’s work to optimize surgical education via haptics and Artificial Intelligence 📊 looking forward to two more days of presenting and learning with @AmCollSurgeons
