Marco Rubio just announced that in the next few months, the U.S. government will roll out facial recognition to ‘authenticate’ your passport photos right from your phone or computer. No more running to Walgreens or CVS.

He says it’s all for our own good and to save us time.

‘Our security system will verify the facial ID.’

How convenient. Another ‘streamlined’ government tool to harvest and store our biometric data under the guise of convenience.

They always start with ‘it’ll make your life easier’ then it becomes permanent surveillance.
