@HallowsEveWrite I really REALLY enjoyed this story! It pushes so many of my buttons ... the silly costume and the parade, being left alone on his own, little to nothing under the costume ... his old babysitter exploiting his situation ... it's just wonderful! What a great experience!
@andlat4 I mean, I've known girls named Jordan and Hunter and Mike and Blake and Cameron and Johnny (well, spelled "Jonni") What good for the vixen is good for the reynard. ;)
@andlat4 So I was watching The Lost City last night and Daniel Radcliffe plays a character named "Abigail." He goes into a big explanation about it being gender neutral, like his brother "Leslie." Not sure how true that is but ... anywho ...
@andlat4 Spider-Sissy!!! lol
"Sorry sweetie, but this was all they had. You'll be fine. Nobody will know who you are with your mask on. Just go with it."
"But Mom, you don't understand. The guys will know it's me. And they'll never let me forget!"
@HallowsEveWrite I'm a sucker for the embarrassing masochistic feelings I get from stories like this. I love how Miranda belittles her little brother in so many ways, especially when she calls him "Elly." It's the little things that make it so real to me.
@andlat4 Oh my! That must have been really humiliating for poor Davey! Poor kid ... to think that he's going to have to repeat that over and over again for two whole weeks! He'll never live down the shame of it .... hehe!
