@wedontknow36 WOW2 was probably my least favorite season. If I wanted to watch a game purely dictated by “the numbers”, I’d be watching CBS. The final was an absolute mess too.
I know we’re all still deep in our feelings about the karma points, but I just have to acknowledge the way Rachel’s toast in the launch special truly became the undercurrent of the entire season. Cheers to the ladies of #TheChallenge40 🥂
@DebSharp8 @TheAllanAguirre Derek was actually so sweet about it. It looked like he fully paused to give her a shot before shouting out the answer and moving on. Agree it wasn’t a fair ask but he was as kind as anyone could’ve been. I cheered so loudly when he placed 2nd.
@TheAllanAguirre Also, and this may be a dumb thought bc I don’t watch Survivor, but I know many viewers thought her win robbed a more deserving player so maybe this evens her out in the court of public opinion? I became a Michele fan this season for sure and will be rooting for her going forward
@TheAllanAguirre I agree with this and would not have maintained the composure Michele did when the scores were announced, but Michele WILL be a Challenge champ. There’s no doubt in my mind. She didn’t get much of the bag this season, but she learned that she has a champ in her.
@ask_aubry Even if we take at face value that this person has a friend and that friend is a doctor, a man doesn’t know more about women’s bodies than any woman just because he went to medical school. This fiction requires too much suspension of disbelief.
@RyanJohn___ I’m waiting to see how the votes affect the final outcome before opining. If Bananas wins but then doesn’t because he got all 1s, this twist will have delivered exactly what I wanted.
@FoxyDMD@GamerVev I have to disagree here. The embarrassment is not on Wes. Perhaps next season, E! can cast people who understand the point of House of Villains. That finale sucked and Wes was not the reason why.
@HamptonThink@ninaturner So… California’s jailing the unhoused, and over here in NY we’re getting ready to roll out special protections for the 1% while the rest of us either fear the police or get no help from them whatsoever? And these are our most liberal states? Just confirming I have that right.
@SHOTOFYAGER lol that i’m paid through next october, only subscribe for the challenge and have a tremendous appreciation for profanity, some of which i’d like to offer to paramount plus.
@thedailybeast@notsilencednow He had one 4th degree DUI, which is bad but not what the headline implies, and he and his wife were quietly separated. He was still the father of her children.
Take out one CEO, another pops up. This is not the way. The shooting happened 3 blocks from my office.
@MTVsChallenges It’s still troubling though, especially given the controversy over The Gauntlet 3 final. Given the diversity of the cast, and considering we know production favors some players over others, I’d have expected to see another black male winner in the subsequent 24 flagship seasons.
@fOrGiVeNcHy@TooChallenge 1000%. The only pair with a shot at winning who I believe would’ve split the money is Joss and Sylvia, neither of whom I like but I respected their team. Zach was not giving Amanda one cent if they won. I do wonder what she would’ve done if she’d been first though. Prob the same?
@RickZhampagne She’d NEVER but he’s long been clocking Erika, from pantygate to comments on her outfits to when he and Mau shouted out the hottest women at the party (the one Melissa Etheridge performed at I think?) and he kinda questioned Mau for saying Rinna like Erika was the obvious choice.
@Dustin_Cone@CrownedBritt I give grace for 2016. She should’ve learned by 2020 though.
I realize my stance is harsh but I’m still very raw about women who voted to shut the door behind them for other women.
