HAPPY PRIDE, @YouTube @TeamYouTube 🌈🦄 This is my film DARE that you are shadow banning: https://t.co/8DT38HrNRk
Here’s what it does for other humans—here’s what you are shadow banning:

Happy Pride all!! & extra special Happy Pride to @YouTube @TeamYouTube who continue to shadow ban our 16+M viewed award-winning gay short film. No qualms, no help, just pridefully banning queer content. #shame #homophobia cc @glaad @HRC @Queerty @outmagazine @AttitudeMag

Happy Saturday! @TeamYouTube has gone silent. Hmmm. Why are they shadow banning LGBTQ+ content?

[Wall's World @itswallsworld]

#AdamHagenbuch (seen here in @DareShortFilm) brings the sexy and the funny to the otherwise patchy #MidCenturyModern.

@TeamYouTube So confirmation that @YouTube is shadow banning LGBTQ+ content again? cc @ejdickson @RollingStone @glaad @HRC @nytimes @latimes @DEADLINE @maddow @MSNBC @NicolleDWallace https://t.co/bm2JWxrSHe

Hi @TeamYouTube - can you help a creator? Our 16 million viewed award short film DARE has been removed from searches. Can you pls help us look into this? This film saves young lives & it’d be a shame for @YouTubeCreators not to want to correct. Escalate to supervisor please! Thx!

[The Dare Project @darethemovie]

Day 6. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube - why are you continuing to shadow ban a 16+M viewed beloved short film. Perhaps it violates Trump’s anti-DEI orders bc it has made queer kids worldwide feel less alone? @TeamYouTube, anyone there with compassion & honesty? Hello?

[The Dare Project @darethemovie]

Good morning @TeamYouTube - can you help answer this specific question?

[The Dare Project @darethemovie]

Dear @glaad @TrevorProject @nlgja @HRC @TheAdvocateMag @outmagazine @instinctmag @sarahkateellis @robertgarcia YouTube is again shadow banning LGBTQ+ content. They ignore all entreaties. We need help. Our short film "Dare" has saved queer youth lives. https://t.co/TQRQxSti9h

[The Dare Project @darethemovie]

@TeamYouTube Unfortunately they didn’t help. “Our specialist teams have thoroughly investigated the issue and confirmed that the performance of your video is working as intended.” A video w 16M views used to come up 1st in search & is now unfindable. Not a great answer. Any other suggestions?

[The Dare Project @darethemovie]

Dear @Melonie_Parker - begging for your attention on @YouTube harmful & detrimental actions to freedom of expression & LGBTQ+ business. Please look into this on behalf of the Queer community.

[The Dare Project @darethemovie]

This was @YouTube response after they admittedly removed us from search years ago bc of homophobic flags. They remedied but now in Trump’s America are saying everything is working fine. As long as it’s White, straight, & “wholesome.” Shame shame shame

[The Dare Project @darethemovie]

Can only surmise that @YouTube is ok suppressing LGBTQ+ content from their response. 1 of most-viewed Queer short films banished from search. Shame on you @TeamYouTube - you’re willingly harming LGBTQ+ youth.

[The Dare Project @darethemovie]

Please help us out here @glaad
