This, this is the very reason why we MUST protect the canon story and narrative of Kuro Games. Because there is always an individual who spares no lie to smear and disrespect the company that provided us with these projects.
Like, what are you even talking about? I’m not going to argue that Lucilla’s story is short.
But Mornye? Her entire interaction with Rover, from the beginning of 3.x through the event and story, revolves around her feelings and longing for him.
Sigrika has a main quest, event bond quests, and even a world quest dedicated to showing her growing affection for Rover.
Denia’s character arc literally culminates in her gaining a heart by learning to trust Rover. She even promises to turn all of her "hate" into "like" before answering his question. And let's not forget her comforting Rover by telling him not to fear the loneliness of the Void because she’ll be there by his side.
And Hiyuki? Hiyuki literally sent her swan into Rover, making him the very reason she can hope for a future where she can walk into spring.
Chisa: Are you almost done with work? Someone is getting very restless at home 🤭
Rover: Just finished my last meeting! Heading out the door now. Why, is our little princess causing trouble?
Chisa: Not at all, we just missed you. Walk outside and look towards the main entrance ❤️
Rover: Wait, you guys are actually here?! Otw down right now, don't move 💨

Born the second daughter of a renowned musical family from Mingting, gentle yet strong, pure-hearted and romantic.
She is a "Votary of the Voice" who can commune with the Streams. Free as a breeze, bold in her chivalry, her life and her blade exist only to protect.

The second image is the example of the people who will shout, "You can't ship Lucy with Rover; she loves David," but then be the same group that will spit in the very story of Kuro Games and lie for the sake of nothing.
Iuno is as intimate as Shore Keeper to Rover, yet they claim "iT Is A mIsunDerStoOd" as if she didn't whisper, "I see you, the one who captured the moon," to Rover.
Carlotta literally had THREE dancing sequences with Rover, and the Fools' crew were singing how lovely they are together in THE MAIN STORY. Yet these people claim, "ShE jUsT AcTs LiKe A NoRmAl WoMaN tO a MaN."
And then 3.x, with Lynae straight up blushing her face red in the jet ride when she and Rover are looking at each other in the eyes. 1/6
Mornye with her dream of becoming a star so she can reach Rover's eyes. Her bond event literally ended with Rover hearing Mornye's heart throbbing because of his words. And her premium outfit was literally made for dating Rover. 2/6
That same event also has Sigrika's face turning red, running around her room just because she got excited looking at the photo of her and Rover. 3/6
Hiyuki literally joined the rank of "GPS owner" after her quest. 4/6
And Denia... Oh my God, Denia. Just read her Thought V already. She literally comforts Rover with, "Do not fear the loneliness of the void because I am here." 5/6
I don't even need to talk about Aemeath because just look at Bilibili for your answer.
Count Luuk in if you need; the 99% of Lahai-Roi casts proved to have ML narratives.
The point is, Kuro Games in general, with Wuthering Waves in particular, absolutely still pushing the Master Love narrative.
And since I don't talk about leaks, we don't need to discuss Suisui, Yangyang, and Rover.
Wuthering Waves is proven to be ML game.
The main reason tourists are so mindfucked by the “target audience” label is because they know it’s the cold, hard truth: homosexuals and wokefags will never, ever be catered to in these games.
Knowing that openly homophobic and misogynistic chuds like gacha grailers will always and I mean ALWAYS get more pandering than your average wokefag tears them apart inside.
You are simply not the target audience.
I don't doubt Kuro Games often, but to be honest, part of me was worried when they announced Rebecca. Because if you ask, this is the impression most people have of her: a loudmouth whose only language is cursing and blasting is how she communicates.
I mean, they're not wrong. That raw, untamed, explosive personality is her biggest charm. Her ride-or-die attitude is the very reason why she is the most favorite character among the cast.
But Rebecca is much more than just that.
She loved David fiercely and pursued him openly, never hiding her affection. Yet, when she realized the depth of David’s bond with Lucy, she didn’t turn bitter. For Lucy’s sake, and out of a selfless devotion to David’s happiness, she accepted being the loser.
When Pilar died, the way Rebecca kept shooting his headless corpse wasn't because she hated him. It was the only outlet she had for her anger and grief. Her brother, her only kin of blood and flesh in that metal and neon prison, had died a meaningless death.
And the way she stepped into the role of the group's entertainer afterward showed that, deep down, she truly cherished him.
These are just a few examples, but Kuro Games truly succeeded in conveying exactly who Rebecca is in the light of Wuthering Waves. For people who watched the anime, this adaptation feels like an emotional tribute to her legacy. And for those who have never seen Edgerunners, it serves as a great introduction to one of the most beloved characters in the franchise.
Kuro Games proved that they understood Rebecca wasn't just a center of chaos. She was a survivor who loved too hard in a world that didn't care.

One soul left, leaving two hearts broken.
Sigrika is undoubtedly the one who suffers the most from all of this. Left in the dark, constantly told to ignore the things she doesn't need to know... yet a genius is still a genius. She is fully aware that something is being hidden from her, but chooses to trust those words because she wants to believe in her friends and have faith that everything will be okay.
With Rover helping her lift the suffocating burden of over-expectation, Sigrika can finally return to her usual academy days. Fully embrace the bright, hopeful life her friends wanted for her.
But the sun cannot shine forever.
Two of her closest friends began to drift away before Sigrika even knew it...
No, she already knew. She simply wanted to believe that everything would turn out fine, that Rover was here and he was the pillar of hope for everyone. What she didn't know, was the scale and gravity of the secret her friends and Rover were keeping from her, for her own sake.
In the end, what hurts Sigrika the most is realizing how naive she was, how she chose to ignore what was happening behind the scenes even when she knew something was wrong with her friends.
As for Rover, no matter how much Denia insists that this was her own selfish choice, no matter how unbothered she pretends to be, and no matter how clearly Rover understood her desire to shield him from the Grand Architect's venom... Rover is forced to leave someone behind yet again.
All of these souls, twisted by the Threnodian, tainted by the Lament, and wronged by the Fractsidus... have begun to take a heavy toll on Rover’s conscience.
For the first time, the after-story of an entire arc ends on a somber note. What remains is a memory of Denia and Rover sitting on a bench together, talking about how "if you never give up, the story will one day have a happy ending..." moments after Rover hears her final words.
