@GillsInTheBlood@TheME7Podcast Can't disagree with this but with regard to full backs, is it more important to recruit specialists in the wing back position or to have flexibility in the formation with full backs who can "do a job" as wing backs.
@TheME7Podcast You are right, Wigan fans last season said that he didn't suit their wing back system. Don't want to see him going to a competitor in L2 though.
@GillsInTheBlood Got off to a terrible start with that ridiculous video and don't think fans really accepted him after that. Think he would have been ok if we are going to play wing backs this season. We need a signing or two to pick us up after the England match!
@TheME7Podcast I'm not sure there was ever a specific goal set for the end of the 2 year plan. I think it was a way of saying we would stick with the manager come what may. Whenever GA was pressed he said the plan was to leave the club in a better position that when he joined.
@GillsInTheBlood@OneUpFrontSCFC A good read and I always enjoy his contributions when he appears on the match previews. We don't have a LB currently so could we be looking to play WB's? If so perhaps we should consider Mnoga also.
@tonywoodrow12@TVFTM This was how I interpreted it also. And the fact the interview was pre the signing of Goodwin then it could be five. I think quality over quantity is key though.
@GillsInTheBlood In terms of numbers another 5 or 6 would be fine IMO. I am hoping that 1 or 2 of these will be experienced and proven players. I think Brophy meets that requirement but not Albarus and Goodwin to a lesser extent. I'm not against signing young hungry players but need a balance.
