The more I think about this the more angry I am.
I’m just not having MPs who have had a £20,000 rise in the last 10 years telling nurses who have had a real terms cut that their pay claim isn’t realistic.
RT if you will back every nurse that strikes.
Average London rent £21,984
Average food bill £4,500
Average utility bill £1,500
Total 27,948
Average nurses pay £27,055
A nurse can’t even afford to live a decent life in the UK
I will support their strike action
RT if you will too

Everyone who banged pots & pans, painted 'Thank You NHS' on trains and postboxes, put kid's 'Thank You Nurses' art up in their windows and waved when that bizarre 'Thank U NHS' spitfire flew overhead should now #SupportNurses in their fight for decent, helpful change. @NurseSayNO
Among the Tory Government chaos, it's important to remind ourselves that their incompetence is damaging lives.
Here's an email I received from a local nurse, who is struggling with the rising cost-of-living. She's prepared to live in a garage.
We need a Labour Government.
For years @johnsweeneyroar tried to tell this story but no British TV channel would dare. So we did.
The world's first movie to lay bare the KGB's links to Boris Johnson & British democracy itself... as told by the man who confronted Putin.

When driving back from Liverpool on Wednesday. I was over the moon to see this on a bridge iver the M25… top marks to whoever did this for placement and clarity of message.
Liz Truss’s actions have led to pensions at risk, mortgages rising, and prices soaring.
Across the country this morning, people had a lot of questions for her.
She didn’t have any answers.
Pls share to stop confusion.
THERE IS NO £2,500 CAP ON ENERGY BILLS.
Instead the new 1 Oct guarantee, like the old caps, limits
- Daily charge (28p gas, 46p elec)
- & Unit rates (10p/kWh gas, 34p/kWh elec)
So use more, pay more. £2,500 is just what someone with avg use'd pay
It's #MeterReadingWeek
Energy prices rise for millions on 1 Oct (& fall for some on fixes). So most, though not everyone, should be doing a reading. Plus some on PREPAY may be able to keep current rates longer.
Here's my need-to-know from this week's MSE email
