@getoutofdepth I just discovered you all, am absolutely LOVING your Mothership series of 12! Can't wait to finish that, your original Electric Bastionland series, and then Icons! You all deserve a lot more listeners.
@DawkinsMP @RedMoon_RPG Newcomer to your podcast, curious if there's a Discord/Reddit community where I can ask community best starting places / TTRPG actual plays from you all to start with?
@PodCalledQuest I like either: 4 players all meet for first time, or 2 of 4 players already know each other, but the other 2 don't. Love any type of bond as gives a built in reason for players to be as invested as the GM from get-go in creating their mini part of story.
@PodCalledQuest Seeing this after the vote, but my vote would 100% be more RP, and a ratio split of:
75-80% RP / 20-25% combat
I like combats to be less often, but really pack a punch and mean something when they come.
@nibbs543@robin_worthy Can you share a bit what strengths/differences Liminal has from similar systems/settings such as Things from the Flood, Kids on Bikes, Delta Green, Call of Cthulhu, etc.? I've always been intrigued by it :-)
@oldwayspodcast Just discovered you all as recently purchased Coriolis and was looking for actual plays of it. Never heard of you all and was genuinely surprised to hear the high quality group play, GM-ing and sound production!
@AcademicFoxhole So true. When our non-profits seeking to support existing problems in the world replicate the same hierarchical structures and attitudes as the institutional and societal values that caused said problems in the first place, not-good things will happen.
@AcademicFoxhole@quadkorps This Pee-Wee shoutout made my day Trooper. I recently rewatched the full "I know you are but what am I?!?!" scene, and every moment is ridiculous and holds up spectacularly.
@AcademicFoxhole I'm not sure what it says about my over-screen saturated-during-the-pandemic-brain, but when I read "returning a stripper" instead of "to shipper" it gave me a hearty chuckle :-) Congrats on the move!
