To exit, close the position you already have. You do not open a second trade in the other direction and hope they cancel out.
A stop or a take profit hangs off that same position. If price hits your level, it closes some or all of it. It does not open something new.
Paper closes against the practice balance. Live closes the Hyperliquid position.
Start on a common market. BTC, ETH, or SOL.
The rest of the Hyperliquid markets are in the list too. You do not need them on day one. Learn where size, leverage, and close are on a single coin. Then the others are the same ticket.
A send worth under about $5 does not clear the Hyperliquid minimum. That one is sent back to Phantom as SOL. Send enough to clear $5 if you want it to credit.
If you confirm, NEAR Intents swaps that SOL into trading credit. The account you then trade is on Hyperliquid. Give it about a minute after Phantom confirms before you expect the balance.
New to perps?
Long: you want the price to go up. Short: you want it to go down.
Say you are long BTC from $84,000. If it trades at $85,000, that position is ahead. If it trades at $83,000, it is behind. A short from $84,000 is the reverse: down is profit, up is a loss.
Try both on paper before you care about the result.
A send is a second, different popup. It only appears if you open Funds and choose to deposit. You can reject it. If you reject it, nothing leaves the wallet and you stay on paper.
The first Phantom popup is a login. It is a signature, not a payment.
It does not move SOL. It does not give us your keys. DARKFILL never asks you to type a recovery phrase or paste a private key. Phantom keeps those. If a page asks for them, close it.
You can look around before you connect a wallet.
The chart, the markets, and the order book all load on their own.
Connecting Phantom is for a saved login, for paper trading, or for sending SOL when you want a live trade.
We give you $100,000 to test with.
Real slippage, real fees. Everything feels like a real trade.
When you're profitable, you can start trading with real money.
