The cameras flagged the car and the police were out looking for him, once they located him they swarmed him

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents were caught racially profiling and stalking a U.S. citizen, before pulling him over and demanding he prove his citizenship.

According to the man filming, ICE followed him until they initiated a stop. As they detained the U.S. citizen, an agent reached into his vehicle and tried to take his ID.

The man asked, “Why are you snatching my stuff?”

The agent replied, “I’m not snatching your stuff. This is a lawful stop. Are you going to give me your ID?”

Except… if this man is a U.S. citizen, what exactly was the lawful basis for the stop… and running his ID?

The Fourth Amendment doesn’t become meaningless just because an ICE agent thinks someone looks undocumented.

And here’s what makes even less sense… even if the vehicle was registered to someone who was undocumented, his driver’s license would immediately show he wasn’t that person.

So, why was ICE still running his information through their system?

Because if federal agents can stop Americans, demand identification, and investigate them simply because of how they look, then the constitutional protections, every American is supposed to have, don’t mean anything at all.

Officer gets his ego damaged because guy on a bike asked the employees of white castle directions after the office already told him. So the officer takes him down arrested him and cost the city 9.3 million in a settlement.

​20-year-old Luther Gonzalez-Hall was riding his bicycle home when he became lost. He flagged down Dearborn Police Officer Marvin Sanders to ask for help. Finding the officer’s demeanor hostile, Luther decided to ride over to a nearby White Castle to ask the employees inside for directions instead.

​Officer Sanders followed him into the restaurant, aggressively demanding to know why Luther was seeking a second opinion. As the officer began pulling on tactical gloves, Luther grew terrified and tried to walk away to de-escalate the situation.

​The moment Luther stepped outside, Officer Sanders pursued him, pulled him off his bicycle, took him down and placed him in a ch0ke hold to apprehend him.

​As a result of the encounter Luther now has a lifelong limp. (trying to keep X happy here)

​To justify his actions, Officer Sanders charged Luther with resisting and obstructing a police officer. However, an internal affairs investigation later found that Sanders had absolutely no legal basis to detain or arrest Luther in the first place, and his police report failed to provide a factual account of the incident. All criminal charges against Luther were completely dismissed.

​Despite the department's internal findings explicitly condemning the arrest, the city heavily protected Sanders during the ensuing litigation. Instead of facing criminal charges or being fired, public records and legal proceedings revealed that Sanders remained on the force—and was even PROMOTED to Detective while the civil lawsuit was playing out in federal court.

​Because the court stripped Officer Sanders of his qualified immunity for violating Luther's constitutional protections against unlawful seizure and excessive force, the case went before a jury. After watching this exact bodycam footage, the jury vindicated Luther Gonzalez-Hall and awarded him a $9.3 million verdict for the egregious civil rights violations and his permanent impairment.

​While municipal contracts typically ensure that taxpayers and city insurance absorb the financial brunt of these massive payouts rather than the officers themselves, verdicts like this prove that juries are growing increasingly exhausted by bully tactics and a lack of police de-escalation.

🚨BREAKING: In Portland, an ICE agent, driving a blue car with no license plate, is seen pulling up to a U.S. citizen, yelling, “get out of here, bitch,” pepper spraying them, and driving away.

Pepper spray is a use of force.

Under the Fourth Amendment, law enforcement may only use force that is objectively reasonable under the circumstances. If someone is standing and filming… not threatening anyone, and not interfering… pepper spraying them is not justified under that standard.

So, let’s call this what this is…

An armed federal agent drove up to a U.S. citizen, called them a “bitch,” sprayed them with a chemical weapon, and drove away.

If an ordinary person did that, they’d be arrested for assault.

The moment officers believe they can attack people for exercising their constitutional rights, without consequences, is the moment they stop enforcing the law.

🚨BREAKING: In the Chicago suburbs, an ICE agent assaults a teenager for filming his vehicle, and pointing out that it illegally has no license plate.

In the video, a U.S. citizen is peacefully filming an ICE vehicle, that is sitting in a parking lot. He walks to the back of the SUV to document that it has no license plate.

That’s when the ICE agent jumps out, screaming, “Get away from my vehicle!” while aggressively charging toward the teenager.

The teenager immediately backs away, but the ICE agent keeps walking at him, tries to trip the teenager , and continues yelling… even though neither of them are anywhere near the vehicle anymore.

Filming government officials performing their duties, in public, is protected by the First Amendment. That protection doesn’t disappear just because the official doesn’t like being recorded.

An officer also can’t lawfully use physical force simply because someone is filming them. Using force, to stop someone from recording, is a violation of that person’s constitutional rights.

And let’s not ignore the reason the ICE agent got out of his car in the first place...

Illinois law requires vehicles, driven on public roads, to display valid registration plates. This ICE vehicle is not following that law.

So, if your first instinct, when someone records your conduct, is to assault them… you’re proving exactly why the public is recording in the first place.
