This is not about business, it's not about the Unionist Community because the DUP does nothing for their community. It's all about votes. If the Unionist Community falls for this pathetic stunt then they deserve the DUP and all that goes with them.
This is the DUP trying to go from zero to hero for something their voters know they caused. Once again relying on their voters to be gullible enough, stupid enough to fall for it. The Unionist Community is there to be used when needed. Will they ever wise up to this fact.
Political Unionism showing the world that they are everything the Nationalist Community have been saying for decades. Unionists can only keep the pretense off being inclusive up for so long before resorting back to type. They'll never change.
When Jeffrey Donaldson is on the media whinging about the protocol that he created and M.D. Higgins not going to something that he wouldn't attend if the shoe was on the other foot. What he's really saying is "PLEASE VOTERS COME BACK... WE'RE DESPERATE. PLEEEEEASE! 🙏😢
Micheal D. Higgins, born in IRELAND, has more right to call himself president of IRELAND, than certain people here in the North, who weren't born in BRITAIN, have the right to call themselves BRITISH.
If the 5 Church leaders held a service to celebrate the unification of Ireland would the DUP be there? Not a chance in hell!. We'll done MY PRESIDENT. 👏👏👏
After the Lucid poll expect the DUP to be outraged about everything and anything from now until May. To try and out do Jim Allister on his home ground is a massive task. But the DUP desparately need to claw back those votes. So brace yourselves.
Murder, drug dealing, rape, terrorising a family's out of their homes. And the only thing this idiot thinks that's wrong is loyalists aren't treated respectfully. Anywhere else ppl wouldn't believe it's real, it must be a poor attempt at humour. But no, she actually means it 🤦♂️
There are ppl who are terrified of needles Images of a needle going in someone's arm doesn't help. Ppl leaving saying "that was easy or never felt a thing" would be better.
@Hillhead16 You could have the bonfire there if you were ever able to control your hatred for the Nationalist Community and behave properly, fact is you can't.
2 new leaders who say they want to make NI a place for everyone, stand at a bonfire site where Catholics are being tortured and can't see anything wrong. That might make them feel at home, but for me, a UI can't come quickly enough.
If it was a Republican bonfire & golf balls were being fired at innocent protestant ppl & homes & music was being played to 4am, would these so called leaders be saying that the bonfire should stay. They would be screaming for its removal. Leaders may have changed but that's all.
"Our culture is under daily attack! is what loyalists cry, not because it's true, because it works. Playing this card let's them do whatever they want. Normal laws don't apply to them. It's time the authorities realise that crying culture is nothing but a tactic.
“The protocol isn’t working as it was intended because DUP ministers, encouraged and egged on by the British government, refused to work it. They have engaged in wilful obstruction since January 2020.”
~ Brian Feeney
@BeattieDoug@WJProgressive Any Unionist who even thinks of being tolerant to others is soon put back in their box by hardliners. Are you the man to break that trend Doug? We'll see.
