The President made an important visit to US troops in Iraq today. Why did he claim falsely he raised military pay for the first time in 10 years (it’s gone up every year for three decades but 1983) & by 10% (it went up less than 3%)? Troops know the truth. Who’s he speaking to?
Trump to the troops in Iraq:
"You haven’t gotten [a raise] in more than ten years. More than ten years. And we got you a big one. I got you a big one....I said no. Make it ten percent. Make it more than ten percent. Because it’s been a long time."
Just FYI, none of this is true.
Note to @realDonaldTrump:
54,000 Border patrol & customs agents 53,000 TSA agents
42,000 Coast Guard employees
13,500 FBI agents
4,400 DEA agents
are working without pay (or not getting paid) not as Dems or Republicans, but as Americans.

If all Trump was doing was hustling a licensing deal for a Moscow hotel why did everyone lie? It appears the Steele Dossier continues to be proven accurate. And who are the"four people with knowledge of the matter" :)) h/t @WendySiegelman https://t.co/chrVP6zS1S
NEW: Bernie was never going to be the estab favorite, but some of his supporters are keeping powder dry or eyeing others, he's not even at half his Iowa vote share, & some of his key aides are eager to work for...wait for it: BETO

FWIW, this is our coverage back in April of this year when McClatchy first reported that Mueller had evidence of Cohen in Prague: https://t.co/sAJn1lk5s4
This is HUGE news.
That "Steele Dossier is FAKE" narrative certainly isn't aging well.
WOW! The Michael Cohen Prague claims appear to be accurate.

2/ We also now know, from other evidence, that Cohen updated Trump on even *minor* Russia developments that Cohen was involved with, which strongly suggests Trump knew Cohen was in Prague and knew that he was there to meet Kremlin agents and cover up major Trump-Russia collusion.
NOTE: Per Steele's dossier, Cohen was in Prague to meet Kremlin agents to do damage control on Page's trip to Moscow—during which he met Kremlin officials then came back to America and lied about it—and Manafort's firing, which we now know covered Manafort-Kremlin agent contacts.
4. Hyde-Smith is not legally obligated to return the money, but it may make it harder for her to raise money in the future. It’s like a clothing store that stops accepting returns.
She’s strapped for cash. Only about 60K on hand and another election in 2020.
1. NEW: FEC filings released today reveal Cindy-Hyde Smith is NOT honoring requests from corporations for refunds of their campaign contributions.
Union Pacific, Boston Scientific, Walmart, Leidos, AT&T, Pfizer, Ernst & Young, Facebook and Walgreens did not get their money back
