I am the proud Principal of Evans MS in MISD, married to my high school sweetheart and best friend, and have the best 2 kids in the world! Life is good!
October is National Principal Appreciation Month. Today we are celebrating Darla Jackson, Principal at Evans Middle School. Please join us in celebrating and appreciating our #mymisd Principals. #ThankAPrincipal
Four things you control every day are your ATTITUDE, your EFFORT, your BEHAVIOR and your ACTIONS.
It doesn’t matter what others are doing or who you think is being unfair. Every day you can focus on being positive, working hard and making others around you better.
MISD will be providing Grab & Go meals Mon.-Fri., March 16-20, or any student at the following campuses: Webb, Finch, McNeil, and Slaughter. Meals will be handed out in the parking lots. Breakfast will be available from 7:30-8:30a.m. and lunch will be served 11a.m.-12:30p.m.

Great stuff!! “...please do not threaten to send kids to the office to see one of the principals. If you need help, know what your administration’s procedures are to get them to your classroom. Using a principal as a bargaining tool does nothing but take away your authority.”
So happy to hear this! Gave out 2 more Golden Hashtags today at PI9. Hope they continue to encourage teachers to tell the stories of the great things happening in their classrooms! #txpvi@N2Learning
