My position is clear: Elected officials should be banned from taking money from citizens or companies or countries —period.

If you can’t win an election without asking citizens to fund your campaign, you don’t deserve the office. The people you represent should never have to pay to put you in power.

Public office is a privilege to serve—not a business funded by the citizens.
