PREVIOUSLY ON MY MED-LAB DIARIES:
I saved a life today🤗 (maybe not how you think though).
A woman came in distressed, they had told her she was pregnant but she started bleeding on Monday, up until today. I advised her to do an abdominal ultrasound, which she did and there was no evidence of Cyesis.
She insisted she was pregnant and they told her that they won’t be able to detect the baby via scan.
Told her to do PT and it was negative.
Turns out they went to one of those baby scam centres where they bill you thousands/millions, convince you you’re pregnant and tell you not to go to any other hospital to check. 9months later, they induced sleep, cut open your belle and stitch it back, when you wake up, they hand you a baby that’s not yours.
Heard some ppl even use that opportunity to take out one of your organs.
So yea, I saved a life today😊
Not a one word answer.
But CS comes with all the risks associated with other similar surgeries.
In both the pain can be managed quite well if you deliver under good professional care.
