Yesterday, we proudly recognized our March Employee of the Month, Garland Pulley, and Officer of the Month, Alexander Robles, for their outstanding dedication and service. We also celebrated our newest SORT (Special Operations Response Team) Academy graduates on completing this significant accomplishment. Congratulations to all on these well-earned achievements!
Congratulations to our Employee of the Month Garland Pulley. His passion and positive attitude is contagious. Garland manages our greenhouses, produce plants needed in our “Harvesting Hope” Horticulture program which in turn saves a great deal of operational cost. He continues to strengthen our relationships with 2nd Harvest’s “Farms to Family program and several other partners supplying much needed starter plants and fresh produce for their clients. Food is a way to bring people together and with Garland’s efforts we see that daily.
Congratulations to our Officer of the Month, Corporal Alexander Robles III. A citizen called to commend Cpl. Robles for his professionalism and assistance at the Justice A.A. Birch Building. She explained that when she arrived for her hearing, she was uncertain about which courtroom she needed to report to. Cpl. Robles took the time on several occasions to help direct her to the proper courtroom and answered all of her questions in a courteous and professional manner.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible moms who give so much of themselves every single day. Today, we especially honor the first responder and badge-wearing mothers who balance the demands of serving and protecting our communities with the love, strength, and sacrifice of motherhood.
Whether serving on the front lines, working tirelessly to provide for their families, or supporting loved ones at home, moms everywhere deserve to be celebrated today. Your dedication, resilience, and countless sacrifices do not go unnoticed, and we thank you for all that you do for those you love and the communities you serve.
