@CarmsCouncil One of each type of swing would have been a far more inclusive decision and thus a revision should be considered: one standard swing, one baby swing and the multipurpose swing to which you refer. The latter swing is not conducive to the safety and well-being of children under 2.
Lovely new park in Llanstaffan. However, I’m perplexed at @CarmsCouncil decision to remove the baby swing that was previously in the park before it was updated. A response to clarify would be appreciated, as my 15 month old can no longer use a swing here.
@CarmsCouncil One of the swings pictured could be exchanged for a proper baby swing, as a direct replacement for the one that was removed from this park. I appreciate that a multipurpose swing has been added for those with mobility issues - but, in terms of equality, what about babies?
@CarmsCouncil Thanks @CarmsCouncil for the reply. However, the multipurpose swing to which you refer is too dangerous for children under the age of 2, who are trying to ‘find their feet’. The large disk design is too open and, as such, the potential for an accident is significantly increased
RIP Sir Ken Robinson. Saddened to hear of his passing. I always found his talk on ‘Changing Education Paradigms’ such a unarguable commentary on the need for change in education. https://t.co/LSGSxyRAFd via @YouTube
The irony that I’m using a social media platform to share this. However, it does has the power to be a force for good. The Tech companies and Social Media powerhouses must do more!! Molly Russell: Did her death change social media? - BBC News https://t.co/0tAxnOenPz
Brilliant demolition of Brexit on live TV.
You’d never see this on a BBC vox pop.
Rachel in Parliament Square tells it like it is at the #PeoplesVoteMarch.
Personal drones have had bad press recently, since the incident at Gatwick. As a hobbyist, I’m sadden by the actions of the few, which create negative impressions. Here is a short example of how these devises can be used safely and creatively.

@GrrrLewis Cheers, Gareth! Had to wait a while for the opportunity to get back up to Mid Wales to gather more footage of the dams overflowing, what with inspection and everything. All good here, mate! Much more relaxed now 😉. How are things with you?
I sometimes buy @thesundaytimes to read good sports writings from journalyst like @DavidWalshST. (Walsh makes the point that journalysm should be paid for).
After reading this today by Rod Liddle I don't think I'll buy The Sunday Times ever again.
Great to see the pupils of Johnstown Primary School featuring in the latest @just2easy_com promotional materials:
