Just an awful day for sports media in Canada.

My thoughts go out to everyone in Calgary and Vancouver who lost their job today.

It’s going to be weird not having 960 on the air in Calgary anymore. That station put out a lot of great content over the years.

It is my understanding that Rogers holds exclusive broadcast rights to #Flames games across all platforms.

So, because these losers in Toronto don't think it's worth it; Calgary no longer has access to the cultural staple of a radio NHL broadcast.
