Contrary to what I believed at the time, goalkeepers are not allowed to handle the ball in both penalty areas.
The goal was disallowed and I was sent off — still it earned me legendary status. 😉

It started with labelling anybody questioning the Covid response as ‘far-right’, those who queried the billions wasted that could have future-proofed our healthcare system and the trammelling of rights, then anybody who looked at the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine - not to excuse it but seek to end it, then anybody questioning the vast sums being diverted to the military industry when there’s nothing for public infrastructure, anybody examining the dysfunction and massive waste of funds in our immigration system, anybody who points out where the ‘Green deal’ contributes to corporates eroding little remaining biodiversity.
There’s been a complete corporate capture of our administrations. To say that is also ‘far right’.
But there was a time, not very long ago, when those considered to be on the left raised such concerns but that corporate capture has been most pronounced of those political groups. And their former voters have seen it.

@_LewisLFC Had been out of form for 4 years at that point. Having him as the midfield anchor cost Arsenal champions league football during those seasons. Arteta moved him to a position where his limitations and weaknesses were less exposed. Terrible player.
